Default Less rediculous Cat-back

I banged up my exhaust and I'm sick of how obnoxious my slp loud mouth is, any suggestions on a quiet cat back that will still give decent performance?

Magnaflow FTW!

All catbacks are the same power wise, even the stock one (2v's). I like Magnaflow.

aka magnaflow. Id go with borla but it is a lot of cash. if you can just buy the muffler and replace them in the spot of ur LM.

if you do that i think you will spend 250 for both muff(depending on what ones you get.) and if you do it your self

Ive had Borla Stingers on my old 04 with stock H, Magnapacks on my 98 with a catted X, Dynamax with o/r H on my 98, and now Bassani on my 01 with stock H. Obviously the midpipes play a roll but it really depends on what type of sound you want.

From all the ones I have installed Bassani was the best fitting of them all. It actually fits closer to the body than the stock system and doesnt bang at all.

I honestly wasnt really a fan of the packs, the Borla and Bassani all imo sounded better.

The chambered mufflers with o/r H sounded great too.

I would go with Bassani or Borla #1, then Magnaflow or chambered.

love my borlas... even dumped they sound good. magnaflows are nicer priced and comparable. Avoid flowmasters and the like. It'll only make the noise you're sick of worse.

Just took a spin in the stang for the first time since probably christmas time. It just reiterated to me that

BASSANI>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MA GNAFLOW

Its worth every single penny. Magnaflow is a better price but figure youre only going to buy exhaust once so why not pop the extra and get the best.

I agree with venom. I have Bassani mid lengths, Bassani O/R X, and SLP Powerflow mufflers and love the sound.

Hell yeah, now you see my point lance.

Its up to you man; i wouldnt buy something cause others told you too or you would end with flowmasters (gross). Just go get whatever you like the sound of.

X2 (don't have the aftermarket mid-pipe though). If it doesn't make noise, it's not alive then.
