Ok, I want to re-paint my whole car, but im getting a new bumer hood and fender first, im thinking about putting stipes on my car but i cant decide what color stripes i want to go, White or black? My car is Tourch red, and im going to keep it that color! What color stripe do you think would look best?

 

Black. Might be cheaper to use the factory vinyl stripes though.

 

I'm getting a good deal on a paint job since i helped my buddy move so im not to worried about the price!

 

I always liked red with darker colors ones like of course black,dark grey,etc... Have you thought about two toning it instead? make the top one color and the rest of the car red? Its been done to a handfull of cars and it looks awsome.

 

I have a torch red mustang as well at one point i was thinking about getting dark grey/silver stripe on my car.

 

Dark silver would look awsome too.

 

I love the way the black looks on my Torch Red Mach.

 

I havent seen any mustangs with a 2 tone paint job, If someone has pics or can pics i would like to seen them!

 

I saw a silver New Edge with black stripes today, it looked pretty bad. IMO stripes should only be done on your car if it's already badass, like jack's or darksith's.

 

Ok this is what im doin to my car, ill be gettin a 03 corba front bumper. 95 cobra R crowl hood, 03 cobra rims, (black) and 03 cobra mirrors, all that stuff that i named will be goin on the car at once! then its getting painted!

If you must do stripes, do black to match your wheels. I think blackout tails and maybe spoiler would look better though. Like I said, I've only seen a few GTs with stripes that I thought looked good, and they are both black with silver stripes. All the other ones just look tacky to me.
