Transmission Fluid?
#6
T-5 is a bit different the t-45 and the 3650 are the same though so maybe the manual guys could chime in here to double check my s***

Well, my manual for the TR3650 says to fill below the fill hole (should only feel the fluid when you stick your finger in it). If the TR3650 and T45 are the same in that aspect, then that's the method if you are going by that.

just did mine yesterday and used Royal Purple. It was a tad less then 4 qts. I can feel a differance in it too,its smooooother.

what tranny do you have in your slowbra?? ha ha...just kidding. 4 quarts is too much fluid for the 3650's. 3.17 quarts is the proper amount per tremec.

What do you have to be hurtful for? Its a T-45 and I said a tad less then four, but you'll have to buy four.

yes, I do know that. Several well respected mach owners recommended it so I tried it, and it works great.

Thats what I use but I have hard shifting. Im gonna throw some Lucas Tranny fix in and see if it helps. Im already at the correct level.

2. Unscrew the drain plug (plug uses a 3/8" drive w/ no socket and is located at the bottom of the tail housing).
3. Once fluid is fully drained, put plug back in and undo the fill plug (looks exactly the same but it's located on the passenger side of the tail housing about 1/4 of the way up).
4. Fill w/ 3-1/4 qts of a nice synthetic Mercon/Dexron III ATF (I recommend Redline D4 ATF).
5. Once filled, put plug back in, lower the car, and your done.
Also, try to change the fluid while warm since the fluid will be able to suspend any particles better therefore making your fluid change more effective.
