Question Factory hood-scoop retardation

Ok, I drove my new '07 GT Mustang off the lot because obviously I got a better deal doing it this way, however, this stupid riced-wannabe fake hood-scoop is just beyond dumb and I want to see what I need to do to either: a) loose it altogether, or b) make it functional. The later being the first choice in this situation. I would like to keep the factory hood, so any of you more experienced people have some ideas of who, what, when or where I need to go?

Thanks,
Wayne

You bought a mustang. Fake scoops come with the territory LOL.

Talk to a body shop or just swap hoods.

You could always look into the functional shaker hood scoops, saw one set up on an 05 that that routed air to the supercharger

Yeah, you could always get a mach 1 shaker system, but they are pretty pricey and won't do anything for power...just looks. I personally like the fake hood scoop over the flat hood. I think the flat hood like really boring. Check this out.

Or you could have just choose the option that didn't include the hood scoop.

EEEh true, but I would rather wait for something I want and spend the intended dollar amount than get it right then and spend more than I had planed for.
