Default looking for some help

this is for guys with 99-04 mustangs. lately i have been hearing a stange noise coming from behind me. it happens when i go over bumps no matter the speed, or when i am simply turning the car. its sounds like peices of plastic rubbing together, kind of like a creeky creeky, and maybe from the passenger side but im not sure exactly. i've tried to move peices of the molding back there, but they all feel firm and in place. has anyone ever had this problem before?

all the time. there's no end to the noises I hear like that. could be coming from the trunk if you've tinkered with the trunk liner lately.

no its not, i bought this car brand new three yrs ago. its never made this noise until last week and its annoying the **** out of me. I know something is rubbing. I had a similar problem under my dash with a weld that broke loose and was rubbing(it was way f-ing loud), but it was under warranty then had i got it fixed. this isnt as loud but its similar, but more plastic sounding. so im just wondering if anyone ever had any similar to this at all.

Have you ever taken your spare out? Check to make sure it's tighten down. I wouldn't be surprised if it is just your rubber bushings that are squeaking.

Check out the spare, tighten it down. Do you have the MACH soundsystem? The plastic tray that holds the amps could be loose. There are 4 bolts that hold it up from underneath (In the trunk).... keep poking around
