I have a friend that has a new set of Chrome Mach 1 wheels and tires (tires aren't even mounted yet) that he bought a while back for one of his project cars. Long story short, the wheels wont fit his project due to the backspacing and he's offered to trade me for my stock bullets (plus a little cash). I like the Mach 1 wheels, but do you think the chrome would look alright on a yellow 'stang or should I just wait and get the black FR500's?

 

I think both would look great, but personally I'd choose the black fr500's.

 

Not a big fan of the mach 1's. I'd go with the black bullitts, but if you want the fr's I'd go with black or chrome. UP 2 U!

 

I say get the FR500's. I don't like Chrome on Yellow to much but that is just me.

 

If he makes you a good deal for your bullits I'd say do it.You could always get some black bullits and switch them out every now and then.

 

put both rims next to your car in front of your wheels and see what you think. Or take a picture and put a poll on the website. You could also even have em photochopped on and see which is better.

 

Get the Black FR550 Deep dishes out back and the regular Black FR500 up front...or the black bullits...

I think black wheel would look better than chrome mach 1's

 

Dont get black bullitts. Everyone gets those... and they dont even look all that good. Black Saleens would even look hot on that...

No, they are 17x8. Usually the replica rims are 17x9 though.

are u serious? 1 I had that idea along time ago :P i decided against it cus 18 inch tires are too much money... 2. ive seen atleast 4 pics of black saleens on a yellow stang

 

I looked at a few pics on YMR, and I think I like the black wheel idea better than the chrome...Plus it'll go better with the whole black spoiler, hood scoop and so forth...

Hmm, what if I am serious? I've only been on this site for a couple months so I wouldn't know if you had that idea along time ago. It was a first for me anyways...

 

The only problem is he offered to trade me straight up for them (he's been a good friend for many years),but they're 17x9 and my stockers are 17x8. I don't have the cash for new tires at the moment and don't really need tires yet anyway. He almost has his project ready for wheels so he wants to get 'em quick. I'm guessing that my 245/45/17's wont fit on a 17x9 rim...
