Default H pipe install

I am having alittle problem with trying to get one nut loose on the passenger side header that connects to the stock mid pipe. I have spent 2 hours trying to get it but am having trouble with getting a good grip on it with my socket. I've tried almost everything. Any advice would be great. It is the nut closest to the starter. Very tight area.

I have seen the thread about the same issue I am having with this same nut. I am still hoping that there is someone with some good advice out there. Has any one tried a crows foot? It's I guess it has a wrench head but can be attached to a socket driver?

penetrating oil... let sit overnight. hit it with an impact gun after taht and it should come right off. If not, get the to an exhaust shop and make them do it.

I had the same problem during my install. I then got a long extension and a swivel adapter, that allowed me to keep pressure and increased the amount of force on the nut. It made the install go by much much quicker, I think the swivel adapter set me back 6 or 7 bucks from parts store. It made putting the nut back on a breeze as well.

That's what I did too. The swivel adapter and a long extension is a must for that nut.
