Angry Center Console Trim

I'm looking at the Haynes Manual for my car and it says to remove the trim, I first need to take my CD/Radio out. According to them, it is screwed in but looking around, I see no screws. In fact, it also says that there are screws on the trim but I see none. So, can someone tell me how to take the trim off? Just so there is no confusion, I'm talking about the trim around the radio, center vents, etc. and this is for an '03 GT.

the entire trim piece comes off. but first you have to remove the bottom part around the shifter bezel. that part pops off, then you will see the screws that hold the taller peice in place. if you have a stick(which I do) take off the shifter ball first so the whole peice comes off and you can set it out of the way.

I did that and I still didn't see screws. I saw screws to take the entire arm-rest assembly off but that's about it. Are you talking about those? Can you post a pick on where it is?

its late, but this is the web page i used as a reference to taking my interior trim apart when i painted it..hopefully it helps.

mine is an 03 as well, and in this link they use and older model, but the idea is the same. those screws should be right below the defrost and fog light buttons (if i remember correctly). they are covered up by the lower trim peice at the shifter.

It just pops out bro. Pop out the trim piece around the shifter, then pop out the piece around the radio etc. No screws or anything. It all just pops out.

its very easy to take off, you just gotta pull it.

seriously, it shouldnt take you longer than 30 seconds to have both peices off.

the 2 screws hold in the center console at the front (the part that goes between the seats). For the vent piece I just yank it off after yanking the shifter bezel and removing the shift ****.

I thought it may be that but I didn't want to take the chance of trying to pop it out and finding a couple of tabs that broke off. Thanks guys.
