Default Odd Bumping/Tapping

I tried this in the V6 forums and didn't really get a bite. Maybe some of the GT guys can give it a try.

Two months ago I hit a dead fox on highway 641 at around 75 MPH. When I hit it, it jammed my car into second gear. Luckily I was near my uncle's shop, so I was able to get it to him. I couldn't adjust any of the gears, and all he had to do was put it on a lift and readjust the gear cable. Now here's the issue.

Because I have an automatic (haha, yeah.) I have one foot on the gas/brake and my other foot on the floorboard or dead-pedal. Whenever I kick it in (with traction control ON), the car pulls (but not a consistant pull, it hesitates every now and then) and I feel this tapping right below my foot on the floorboard. When I take traction controll off, its much softer if not completely gone.

It didn't do this before I hit that fox. Any suggestions?
