Default hollowing out cats

How hard is it to hollow out the cats, and is it even worth it?

save your self the hassle and buy an off road mid pipe. instead of taking of your stock one, hoping to get it all out, take of your pipe and replace it one shot. just remember, get MIL eliminators or you will have a check engine light.
