Default left and right

easy question but just want to be sure, when it comes to the body of the car, is the driver side right and passenger left like the motor?

Other way around I'm 99% sure.

Left and Right is based on sitting in the car, so left fender would be driver side fender... right fender would be passenger side fender.

ok then, give us an example of what you are looking at... yeah the intake is on the 'left side' but it is easier to say the passenger side (aibag, header, exhaust tip, mirror, seat, headlight etc)

as far as FoMoCo goes, leftside ANYTHING is the driverside and rightside is the passenger side. the car is ALWAYS viewed as from sitting in the drivers seat. nothing else, even on the engine, # 1 cyl is rightside front and # 8 cyl is leftside rear
