The pipes don't have the perfect silver color that borla shows on their website


but...long as they sound good and the tips look awesome, I don't care!

very nice indeed. I finally decided on my set up, going with MAC long tubes, and MAC o/r pro chamber! Hope to order it in about 3-4 weeks.

I just thought I'd like the sound of the X. I thought of it like this: X will make the loudness, borla will amke the tone. So...hopefully...it will be loud but with tone. Not just loud with...loud, like my current setup

 

all and all how much u spend for the exhaust....im thinking of going all out....even the cat bak....i want a different sound

dude.... with 2 grand in a savings account that is just SITTING there, temptations a bitch. Plus I keep getting beat by lightning and 350Z's so I decided to upgrade.

hmmm....cost of everything, minus labor is about 1200. I got a mustang performance place nearby gonna do 325 for the complete header install. When he said 325 I nearly pissed my pants in excitement.

And I'm definitely not ripping on the SLP. From 3500-5500 rpms I'm in heaven with my SLP. I just wanted something different. No hard feelings

Looks like a nice setup you got goin there. But if you wanted a louder sound coming from the borla's, the H pipe will be more to your liking. I definatly like it better than my X and pro-chamber i have sitting in my garage...

ha... this has nothing to do with springsstang. I've been thinkin about a new exhaust for a while but didn't have the money. And as I said...temptation sucks(but it doesnt REALLY suck).

And yes, I told the guy it was a GT and his explanation for why it was so cheap was because he works on stangs all day and he said he can do the work in a fraction of the time others can. and i DID specify they were LT's, and he seemed fine with it.

 

took me and my mechanic (at a dealership with all the tools) 7 hours from pulling in to pulling out. i paid 200 for my header and midpipe install. are you getting rid of your loudmouth? I may know someone interested if its a good price...
