Exclamation Starting Problem

I got off work and went to start my car and it sounded fine but immediatly crashed after starting. So i tried again and reved it up a little and it run until i let it run on its own, it quit again. Eventually about 20 minutes later after calling for a ride i tried it again and it started and idled normally. I have no idea whats up and was looking for some sort of guidance. Thanks. Oh and it's a '97 GT.

Check the IAC valve, may be sticking.

bust a little carb cleaner through the IAC and go from there. I've seen similar behavior with vacuum leaks but usually the car won't idle at all if there's a vacuum leak.
