the cars 15-20 years old... all you need is air, fuel, and spark. on a car that old, prolly needs help with all 3. get the injectors cleaned, put some new plugs/wires/cap and button/maybe even a coil. toss a new air filter at it. possilbly a fuel pressure regulator. its an old car, it doesnt like the cold.

my 87 is a florida car, it hates any weather below 50. me adding a cam didnt help, but it does fine.

joys of older cars

Check timing
pull the plugs... come back and tell me if they are fouled or burt, or how they look...
Check the wires
Run some fuel injector cleaner...

Then read this http://www.sn95forums.com/forum/index.php?topic=9600.0

It may be a good idea to replace the cap and rotor...
