intake question

Default intake question

can you put a pi intake manifold and pi cams on a 96 GT without having to get new heads. if you can does anyone know about how much horsepower it would give me.thanks.

Yes.Check out www.livernoismotorsports.com. Muscle Mustangs /Fast Fords did a test and it shows about a 14 hp increase.

PI intake and cams have been dyno proven in NPI heads to make 20rwhp. I am looking for the link to a thread that explains how to make the Pi bolt onto the NPI heads. The cams are a direct bolt in though.

The Detroit Speedworks kit that I refered to uses adapter plates that fit under the PI intake.They mill a little off the new intake so that everything fits just like stock.

Honestly, just go ahead and save the money a little longer. I know its hard to do, but wait, and you will get about 30 or 40 MORE horsepower with the PI heads. They will make your car amazingly faster. Just wait a little longer.
