that must of been a weak line because mine i had to take a grinder to it because a hacksaw wouldnt cut it. Only things i know he could do is get a bigger size pipe and put the smaller pipe in it and the weld the two seams or time for an egr delete.

EGR is on drivers side header, not passenger side.

What year and v8 or v6? the v8's from 96-04 were driver side... and dealers rarely know their azzes from a hole in the ground... avoid them if you can.

From what I've been told, without the EGR you'll have higher combustion chamber temps at part throttle. I'd just grab one off a junkyard car and go from there. You'll want to use plenty of penetrating oil to break the rust free as the EGR tubes always rust on solid.

At WOT the EGR valve is closed so it's not going to affect power during race conditions... looks like you were honestly owned by a honduh. Bummer.

BTW... I've got a couple EGR tubes from my 5.4's that may or may not work... if you want one, pay shipping and 10 bucks and you can have it. I'm up in norcal so shipping will be relatively quick.

well then... there's your answer to the owned by a honduhh mystery. V6 in a heavier car against a light car with giggle gas. I'd call that a fair fight and you lost. No pride ding there... it's an honest win for him. Check your junkyards for a new tube... v6 guys will know more about what side it's on than me...I'm a v8 guy.

true enough.. but IMHO you should shelf all those mods and just slap a 50 shot on it... cheaper and you get all the power and keep all the street manners of your car for non-race times. Getting those mods will help but a 50 shot will beat that honduh

define cheap... compucar bottle-in-a-bag kits can be had for 300ish which is mighty cheap and portable. Otherwise, figure a Zex kit should be about 400-500. Check with SoCal Diablo, they're local to SoCal and can usually point you in the right direction, otherwise Brothers Performance is down Riverside way (Corona I think) and they've always got decent prices.

Log on to www.wildhorsesclub.com and ask those guys... about half of them are LA area and someone is usually selling a nitrous kit. Tell em r3dn3ck sent you and they'll treat you really bad... hehehe jk
