Default Heat shield???

Not sure where to put this whether here or V6. I bought the CAI here from MT and my friends and i are lazy, so we did not run it into the fenderwell. We cut it off so it is a straight shot intake now. It just sits in the engine bay, and i was wondering if anyone knows where i could get a heat shield to put over it, to keep some of the heat away from the filter? I dont really want to make one myself, but if i have to i guess i can. I know i saw something i liked on a pic that RyanGT04 posted, he has a k&n intake. It was plastic and just in the shape of an L and then it had like foam stripping on the top edge to kind of seal the shield to the hood. Thanks for the help guys and girls.

go to orchard or lowes etc... and pick up a piece of sheet metal. Also get some aluminum heat reflective tape (it feels like thick foil with stickum on one side). Make cuts and bends as required to work with your setup. Pop rivets are kinda cool sometimes, bolts are better other times. Cover the plate with the aluminum tape on the outside but not the filter side. I might have one laying around that I fabbed from 6061 Aluminum that's painted black. If I can find it you can have it for 20 bucks and shipping. It's a good heat shield but will work better with the heat reflective tape on the outside. Here's a pic: (DUW)
