Default Headlights?

What type of headlights do you have? I went to advance auto he other day and was looking into getting brighter bulbs because I wish I had brighter lights where I live because their is hardly any street lamps. I just want some brighter bulbs not the whole led kit or nothing. I've heard the silverstars are good but what are your opinions.

I've had silverstars for over two years in my 04 and they haven't burned out yet.
If your headlights don't light up the road very well have you checked to see that they are aimed properly? The headlights on your 04(?) are only adjustable up and down and have one adjustment screw.Go to a dark parking lot and use the side of a building as a reference point. My headlights were misaligned from the factory so if you haven't adjusted them yet I'll bet this is at least part of the problem.

ditto to the 3 other sylverstars guys. 5 years, 2 cars, 2 wrecks on 1 set of bulbs. I aim my lights to project on the ground about 100 feet in front of me. Around here that's the best mix of distance and illumination without people flashing me all the time.

They are really good. Usually bulbs burn out due to people changing them out and touching the bulb part itself. Then you leave oil from your fingers on it and when you turn the lights on the oil from touching it actually heats up more than where you didn't touch it, that's what burns them out quicker. Just make sure to grab it by the bottom plastic part when installing. Also put your stockers in the trunk to have a back up set just incase your driving and one goes out....
