Default Which headlights to buy? I hate my new projection headlights.

I finally decided to replace my factory lights that were fogged up and got some chrome projection lights.

Got them installed today and hate them. Too shiny or something- they do not look good at night and barely shine brighter than the stock lights. I put Nokya Arctic white bulbs in (they look pretty) ... but I just think the lights are ugly. Uggh. what a mistake.

Any suggestions? I was thinking clear smoke regular mustang lights. Suggestions before I order another set?

I am just going to sell the projection lights on craigslist or something. What a bummer. I was really looking forward to having new lights.

Just FYI- I drive a nicely kept 2000 black mustang with really black windows. They guy I bought it from a few years ago had it lowered and it has some nice GT wheels. It is a cute girl car...sorry guys- I am not into all the technical performance stuff. I love my Mustang and want it to look nice, but I am just a girl who drives it to work and back. Please help me out here so my car can look nice.

Thanks.

Julie

Ahh yes... Modification remorse. Most of us have been there at one point or another. I actually had Altezza tail lights for a brief amount of time. That was the first thing i did to my car. Without a doubt the ugliest thing i have ever done to it as well. those lasted a couple weeks then i went back to the stock ones.

As for visual changes on the car, it really boils down to what you like. Anytime you change the headlights or tail lights it makes a pretty dramatic change. Personally i liked the smoked headlights that were on the 2001+ models (i think)

A lot of people seem to like the Mach 1 grill delete and Mach 1 Chin Spoiler. Thye seem to cleanup the front of the car and make it look a bit nicer.

Go to the pics section of the forums, you will find a lot of pics of mustangs and you can see what you do and dont like.

Here is a pic of the front of mine, it has the smoked headlights as well as the mach 1 grill delete and mach 1 chin spoiler.

i agree with Jack, those will be perfect! but get them w/ clear corners instead of the yellow corners.

Ok... I am ordering the smoked colored headlights with clear corners...cannot wait to get the ugly-*** ones off my car. Hope I can sell them to someone else or I will have to chalk it up to a loss...grrr.
Thanks for the help.
