Is it illegal to smoke your headlights in California?

I want to smoke my headlights and tail lights, I heard it was okay to smoke the tail lights but not the headlights. Is this true?

 

I didn't think it was illegal to smoke anything in California. LOL

I am sure its legal to a certain level. If you can buy smoked lenses online that are D.O.T. approved I am sure its ok to smoke your stockers to a certain extent. :ORGR:

 

Seeing as the 01 + Stangs have smoked headlights from the factory, it should be fine.

 

This is a totally different style of smoking the headlights then the factory 01's... th 01's simply have a black backround headlight as oppossed to the 99's-00's chrome back round.. is it illegal in cali??? not sure but i'd say yea.. everything is illegal in cali... if it alters your vehical from stock 80% of the time it's illgeal in cali..

Yea, Cali is annoying to live in (laws wise). I can't tint my windows the way I want to...I have to have a front license plate (which I totally ignore, I just leave my license plate in the back seat and if I see a cop I quikly take it and put it on my dash, unless it's illegal to that as well)...I can't smoke my headlights and there are a bunch of other meaningless things to add on the list.

I really want to smoke my headlights though. Perhaps theres a limit to how dark it can be?

 

Its only legal to smoke headlights in CA if you suffer from Glaucoma :laughing8
