Default I need some advice!!!!

I am trying to decide whether or not i should get u/d pulleys. Right now i have a Sony head unit, and Sony Xplod 6x9s and i am hoping for Sony Xplod 5 1/4 in the front doors and then a Sony 500 wat amp. Will the u/d pulleys take away too much power from the alternator? So that the alternator wont be able to power my amp and speakers???

I'd say save your money for something else.Very small gain's for the UDP's and if you go bigger on your stereo setup you may indeed have charging problem's.

Could i possibly get a bigger alternator or would it be pointless with the UDPs??

I think you would be alot better off getting a tuner or a chip. That will make alot more of a difference than UDP's ever will.

UDP's give nothing in power for the amount of money they cost. Don't bother. If your crank balancer needs replacing, then do em' otherwise, don't bother.

If you insist on UDP's, then 1. give me 200 bucks too since you like giving money away in 200 dollar blocks. 2. you should get a higher output alternator. Your headlights will dim with the bass hits at idle and just above idle if you're loud music kind of dude.

enjoy your ears while you have em.
