Well, here's the deal( sorry it's long) and I would still like to hear a few options. I set an op to have new axles, dif and gears (410) in my 04, the guy is really busy and it takes about 6-8 weeks to fit me in. Well, then I get a deal on a sc (roots) so I fig the 410s are too much and deside to wait until after the sc in to see about gears, the op was for the same week. I go up north, Virginia, for a few days and my wife, being the great chick she is, has Steve ( the guy!) fit my car in to have the work done while I'm gone. Early father's day gift. I never talked to her or Steve about waiting for the sc install. I didn't say anything to her, I mean she's SOOO happy she got this done for me and I had no idea. My guestion to you, mostly you with roots sc, 410 too much? I have a set of 355 and two sets of 327, so I can have them changed later. I also must say..HOLY SH^T that woke the car up!! Anyone thinking gears...410s are the ticket. My 99 has 355, Way boring. Any input will be apprciated. Cobra owners? Anyone with KB?

you got em. You seem to like em so far. Keep em. Seems like easy math to me. Best of all... the little woman is HAPPY about it. The only thing that would make that better is if there was a cold beer, a sandwich and a BJ waiting in the car for you.

Keep the gears man, 4.10 + Roots just means more fun on the street! Unless you're gonna drag race it, I wouldn't change anything, just have fun with what you have and hold the f*** on lol

 

I have 3:73's with my KB and they are great. I think with 4:10's you'll be shifting from 1 to 2 pretty quick. It really gets the rpm's up quick now, I couldn't imagine with 4:10's

 

4:10 with a roots blower? holy crap. thats gotta be hard on the rear tires lol

 

Thanks for the input guys. Nice to hear a few people with roots and lower gears that are happy. I'll wait and check it out, I'm able to change them Tue at no charge, so that's why I wanted the input. Thanks again.

i agree with the others, just wait until you have the blower on an then decide if its too much. you should be fine, and it will be a hell of a ride. i have 4.10's in mine and im keeping them in when i get the blower.
