gears help with them please my spedo is way off

Default gears help with them please my spedo is way off

hey i bought a gt 3 months ago and the car had 410 gears in it and the guy never changed the thing that makes the spedometer right what do i need and can i do it my self thanks ohh my car is a 95 gt

well if it is anything like the '95 v6 (which i believe it is, it is the same tranny) it will have a mechanical speedo.

you need a speedo gear for a T5 transmission for 4.10's, look on steeda.com i believe thats were i ordered mine.

That will barley fix cars with 3.73's let alone a car with 4.10.s My 95 GT had both, and espeically with 4.10's and white speedo, it was still way off.
You will need to get a speedcal for your car. The wiring for it is simple. If you get it from www.dallasmustang.com, you can also ask the Tech there, where to set the dipswitches, but you will have to give him your gear, tire, and rim size so it can be accurate.

and it is a mechanical speedo.
