Default Wheels and tires

Just wondered what is the biggest wheel and tire that would fit comfortably on the rear of my 2000 GT. I would like to put on a set of Cobra (17 X 9 I believe they are) wheels and wondered if they would fit directly from the factory or if backspacing would become an issue. Any help or links to pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys (or girls)

I have 17X10.5's on mine. And you can fit 315's on those rims with out doing anything. I use 285's.

275's will fit nicely on a 17X9 rim.

i think 335 are as big as the rear takes before you have ot cut things to make them fit.

as for the 17X9 i would run a 295 sized rear tire and have some awsome traction
