Anyone with a autotransmision how do you know if your trans is slipping and what can you do to fix it??? Whenever im at WOT and it shifts from 1-2 It does something weird it sounds like its hitting the rev limiter and then it shifts real fast to second, Its kinda like i was driving manual and i shifted it really really fast, i kinda get a popping sound too.. could just be my imagination, or i might have the rev limiter set to low, i have it on my performance tune and i have it about 700 rmps lower than what the performance tune came , could that be the problem???

 

Your shift points are set hard on your SCT XCAL 2 probably.

 

yeah thats what im thinking, i think i am going to change the shift points back to what they were and see if that does anything

 

Just changed the rev limiter back to where it was... shifts perfect, let this be a lesson to auto guys with the xcal 2, do not lower the rev limiter more than by 2-300 rpms or else it will shift really really hard
