I've never went 45 in first gear in my mach, but customstang if you want a real kick in the pants go about 40-45 in second gear which puts you at about 4,000rpms and just hammer it! Now that's fun.

ha ha ha.....ok. Well, look at it this way....when your blown all of those 10hp things will be 15-20hp things so it all works out.
Jeredan....the mach's have 3:55 gears so that's probably why the rpm's are different. I need my car to be at about 4,000rpm before it will get up and go all the way up to 6,800 rpms.....from 0-3,000rpm my car sucks! I guess the exhaust and prochamber took some low end torque or something, but after 4,000rpm....look out.

I need my car to be at about 4,000rpm before it will get up and go all the way up to 6,800 rpms.....from 0-3,000rpm my car sucks! No your car doesnt suck below 3000rpms because of exhaust, mines the same way. You can feel in second gear if you start out and climb all the way to 6800 that between 3-3.5k the powerband hits hard, it's like you just shifted down a gear. I wish I could gear 1-4 lower and leave 5th for mileage :banana:

Youll have to play inside the Tranny and change the gears for each actual "gear". Dont do it........
OK Guys I went out and tried it! I got up to 55mph and tried shifting into 1st.....YES it does work! lol.
I even have the Pro 5.0. It was kinda hard to get it into 1st with the PRO 5.0.....It made a wierd noise when I did it though.....kinda like a loud vibration.
Maybe I wont do it again lol. No I didnt let out the clutch to see what would happen.
OK Guys I went out and tried it! I got up to 55mph and tried shifting into 1st.....YES it does work! lol.

I used to have an Rx7 and would do that all the time. With a short shifter in it I would miss the shift from the top of 3rd at 8K into 4th and throw it in to second and spin the motor well over 10K. But it's completely diffrent with a rotary.
