I have a mac, but as the recent mania has stated Mac's with the bend into the fenderwell aren't the best... That being said alota guyz just take out the old filter and silencer and go ahead and put in a K&N filter...

they're all worthless for adding much power. Pick a non-fenderwell model so you avoid any potential drivability issues. Steeda, C&L and many others make nice units. A k&n drop in and removing the silencer is just about as good. Your cams and a lack of displacement are what's limiting your power, not your intake snorkel.

Remove your airbox and get the big k&n filter and youll save yourself 150 bucks and see about the same performance.

Ummmmm..... Did anyone happen to notice that he has an 03 cobra????????:stupid:

Hes gonna make some power from an intake. ONLY go with JLT or a K&N FIPK. When I had an 03 cobra for like a week I just took out the silencer and it seemed to pull harder on the top end..........

I really say you should go with the JLT. Its pretty cheap too...

And the smack hand comes down from jeredan... You got us. Good catch.

Supercharged cars don't have to pay attention to the "CAIs Always Suck" line. They need the inbound air. And for that, I'd probably go with the JLT. Though for me being able to get it in the same color as my car... that's just cool.

Anyone want to buy a Steeda CAI. Maybe 7K miles on it? I'm a get me a JLT just for the color match. How rice is that.
