I FINALLY got my check from the insurance company of the guy who ran into my mustang. So now I can fix the damn thing.

I'm trying to find an OEM driver side fender for 99-04. Can be v6, gt, cobra, saleen, etc etc. Doesn't matter what color or if it's used. (If used no dents or rust.) I'll be sanding it down anyways so the color doesn't matter.

I've been checking ebay everyday.

So if you can help me find one, whether it's on other forums, auction sites, etc. etc. Thanks guys!

Going to check out tomorrow. I just got the check, so I haven't worried about looking earlier.

Dumb question, do some junk yards (or all) charge you for parts you want or can you just take whatever?

 

i'm slightly confused at what you are asking

Go the yard tell the guy what ya want... and negociate a price if he has it...

Some yards have specials... like by me once a year they have the 10 bucks for whatever you can carry out... so we go there with a rope and pile stuff on an ol hood...

bring tools too... generally ya'll go there... and the owner/ worker will either walk ya through or let you go to town... then work out a price... then leave it up to you to remove the fender...

I've looked there, shipped painted is over $400.

 

I guess I was hoping that someone has seen a used 99-04 fender on another forum. I've seen all the new fender websites.

 

I've seen one on the sfbay craigslist a few times. Check it out in the auto parts section. Otherwise, check www.wcfords.com and www.cafords.com. IIRC there's one on one of those sites.
