Bullitts Are Overused!
This is literally just from '00 - '02 AM Customer Rides!
Bullitts:
'95 Cobra R's:
Now, im not saying that they are trashy or bad looking.. SIMPLY saying that they are way over-used! I mean, come on you see them on stock Stangs EVERYWHERE. People buy aftermarket Bullitts everyday..
So, slither.. you say you see Cobra R's more often then you see Bullitts? I say you need to get your eyes examined!

That being said I love bullits and thing Cobra Rs are super ugly unless they are chrome.
But I have FR500s so what do I know

Bullitts are used a lot, why? because they work... Bullitt/Torque thrust wheels have always been around the muscle car style and probably will never cease to be made and included on factory cars...they're great wheels.... but I personally like FR500's
I actually remember back on the MT forums (before MB) when people were actually daring someone to get FR500's or Black DD bullitts because so few people had them and it looked different from what most of them had..and now everyone has black DD bullitts..
Don't like saleens or cobra R's much, those are hard to distinguish between any import style wheel......
But the absolute worst mustang wheel has to be the ones I have, and the earlier versions of that that were just 3 spoked triangles basically..terrible wheels, lol

I do not loooooooooooooove bullitts like you think. I got them because of the deep dish in the rear and because it was a nice affordable wheel. Did I get black bullits? No. Did I get anthracite? Did I get chrome? No...I got polished because they are different and not everyone has them.
My original arguement was because you made a comment about everyone having bullitts when you just went out and bought some R's lol. Atleast we buy a good looking popular wheel.
You are acting like people are being forced to buy them. People like them and don't do it because everyone else is. That is like saying people are buying Mustangs because everyone else is. People buy what they like. If anything my car is different than most peoples on the site so you can't say I am trying to be like everyone else. People like Bullitts just like you like men...but we don't make threads about your *** getting overused do we?

As far as your crack about my R's being ugly (what you implied) I could really give a **** less what you think.. You are not respected by anyone on this forum, and if you think you are.. well I don't know what to yell you, just keep living in your elmo dream world..
I gaurantee you that 75+% of people in this world buy Mustangs because they are Cool/ Popular. Why do you think SO many have V6's? If it were really true that everyone got them because that was their dream car do you really think they would buy a V6?
I never implied that you were following the crowd when you bought your Bullitts, and I have told you many times that your car looks great.. But when you come back defending yourself, it makes me wonder..
For the 15th time.... I haven't said that Bullitts were ugly, I haven't said that anyone was stupid for buying them, im quite simply saying that they're getting old.. Just so many of them being used..

How in the world did you get that I was being a cry baby in that? I used LOL and because I am having fun with you. Damn man...you are the one that started a thread about them being used to much so who is the one that has a sandy vagina? All I did was point out the obvious just like you. I never once impied you saying that bullitts are ugly or that people were stupid for buying them. I wasn't trying to defend myself I was just trying to explain that people buy them because they like them just like you bought yours because you like them. Everyone jokes with me on here but when I joke back some think I am being an ***. I never once took offense to your comments and was just stating what I thought the reason behind bullitts was. Take it easy.

What you implied by that is this: You guys buy bullitts because you like them so that makes them nice to you, I bought R's for the same reason, but My wheels are ugly because YOU don't like them..?
I don't like Bullitts, I would never buy a set of Bullitt style wheels for a Mustang, maybe a Full size pick-up truck or SUV. Did I say your wheels look like ****? No, definietly not..
Anyway, back to the subject. Are the wheels used too much or not?

How many STOCK mustangs come with Bullitt style wheels? Hundreds upon Hundres upon Thousands! lol I find it very hard to believe that you see more R's than Bullitt Style..
I see ATLEAST 10 Stock Mustangs every day with the factory Bullitt style wheels.
And BTW: I bought my wheels and tires for $250.. So, stick that up yer butt and smoke it! lmfao
Again, I never said there was anything wrong with Bullitt style wheels.. They look good, I just don't prefer them because they are soooo common..

I have had mine for about 3 years. I actually have the very first set sold by this site. They were really cool back then, now...a lot more popular. They are cheap, look good, adn look like they belong on the car.
As popular as they are on these sites, I still don't see them much on the street....DD's that is.

Overused? I dunno, popular? Definitely. You see a LOT of cobra r's on 94-98's and a LOT of bullitts on 99-04. I like bullitts b/c it's styled after the old wheels from back in the day, just with an upgraded look (plus deep dish is sweet!). Cobra R's are on almost every 94-98 (even alot of 99-04) where I live, but mainly b/c back then, they were the "bullitts" of the time period. People are already calling Badfish's and Lance's wheels (which I personally like) the new bullitts. You have to start somewhere, I've had my bullitts for over 2 yrs. No one had deep dish bullitts around here and noone had them in black, that is why I bought them. Now everybody and there mom has them but whats the point in switching wheels when the trend picks up on the new wheel and it will be called "overused" or "played out" like the bullitts? No classy wheel will ever be "different" for very long. You may be the first to have a set or different for a while, but then when everybody starts buying the same wheels as you, you just become another person on the bandwagon of people with overused wheels...but, that's just my 2 cents

Like I have already said, I think Bullitts look really good, but I just see them everywhere!
I'd just like to see some people break out with something new...
