first time to the track in my v6
well i finally got around to goin to the track.. and i must say i'm not impressed with my results.. i made 3 runs, i'll post the best run
reaction... .8046
60ft........ 2.3823
330ft...... 6.7558
1/8ET..... 10.3401
1/8MPH... 68.82
1/4ET...... 15.9969
1/4MPH.... 86.14
and whats the perfect reaction? because on my 2nd run i had a reaction of .5712
the reason i'm not impressed is because every time i would lose traction from 1-2 in a freekin automatic!!! and the bad thing is the screen on my programmer is broken so i can adjust the shift pressure right now..

the perfect reaction time is 0.00000, lol. seriously, my first trip to the track with my V6 i was really just trying to get good reaction times. practice launching when you see the last yellow, and you'll get really good.
as far as your quarter mile time... well, what mods do you have?? i had 3.73s +basic bolt ons and i think my best time was about 15 flat. so i wouldn't worry about it if i were you. the first trip to the track ur gonna suck.

right now i just have u/d pulleys, sct x3, exhaust, and k&n filter.. i took the spare out for weight reduction but the 18s probably compensated for it anyhow.. (not to mention the shotty tires)
but i'm plannin on buying 4.10s and a better differential, and get my tuner fixed so i dont spin from 1-2 down the track every time..

If you're getting 4.10s you'll still probably spin a little even with the tuner. You might be able to decrease the spin and just get more of a chirp, but if you're spinning already then don't expect that to get better with the 4.10s...What tire pressures were you using?
Anyway the perfect reaction time is a .000 and that's extremely rare to get. My best ever reaction was a .035 but I've only done that once. If you're not using the pro-lights, go on the third amber light. If you go on the green you'll always be slow.

i think the pressure is at 20% which is fun on the road but it just spins at the track.. i would turn it down but the screen on my tuner is cracked so i cant see anything.. i need to call sct after the holiday and see if i can get it fixed.

i have a 95 v6 auto mustang (at the time of this my stang had well over 200,000 miles on it)
first time there (best run out of the night)
second time there (that was my best run)
Now i cant wait to go again since my stang is being bored over 30 over with p/p heads. Hoping to seeing sumwere around 15's
