Default 99-04 GT loses to a sixer

I noticed this silver mustang and a slammed integra racing down a street last night on my way home. So I decided to give chace a bit luckily they hit some lights and I didn't just got greens. Anyways catch up to them the integra guy pulls into a parking structure but the GT keeps going...I decide to follow my fellow stanger and pull up next to him at the light. I look over and he's checking out my wheels and such I notice he's got a girl in the passenger seat (I later learn he also had a buddy in the back). So we roll out of the light casualy but I notice he's pacing me I speed up a bit he does the same I look over he down shifts (exhaust note change gave it away) and he punches it. Luckily my bottle was open at the time so I hit it, I'm in second by the way, I have a 4r70w, As soon as I go WOT the 4.10's get me to 3k I flip the switch car just pulls on the GT. End up having him at my rear bumper by about 65 ish and keep pulling SLOWLY LOL. He shuts down and I go on my marry way.

On the way back I notice the same car in a parking lot. I pull over talk to the two guys and the girl cool *** people just complimenting me and the car. It was a bone stock, well a cat-back system don't know which one he didn't elaborate, but that's it.

Cliffnotes: Beat a 5-speed GT (stock besides a cat-back) on the juice. I love having a full bottle

That's sweet man! I bet the GT was pretty suprised....

.now regarding the athletic thing. This is just a general statment of my opinion...... Just cause someone can run and jump doesn't mean they can do anything else having to do with athletics....meaning, can that person bounce a basketball, can they catch a football, can they play soccer, can they hit a baseball? Hell there are some people that can do it all, but in high school I knew plenty of kids that could run fast and jump high and couldn't catch a freaking ball to save their life. I went to high school with a kid that was ranked in the top 3 in Cali for his weight class in wrestling and was athletic, but if you got him on a basketball court or played catch with him he looked like a little girl.

I played baseball in college and could hit a 90mph fastball one at bat and then hit a 75mph curveball the next at bat and even hit .400 my sophmore year and played shortstop......so big deal, I bet most V-6 and V-8 owners can't do that! ha ha ha....i know your sig is a joke so I'm just poking fun, but I do believe that just cause you do 1 or 2 things really well it doesn't make a person the "most athletic" person.

I totally agree with your statement...

Luckily I was also on the varsity basketball team all four years played baseball till I went into high school when I got bored of it and occasionaly made our football team look stupid trying to cover or tackle me (I didn't play football doesn't interest me that much). Yea I'm a track only guy now since that's all I choose to do in college but I consider myself pretty athletic and from what you've said about yourself I will say the same thing about you. Like I said and you pointed out it's just a joke.

ha ha ha....your one confident dude I'll give you that, that's usually how good athletes are...and have to be. I had a wake up call in college cause I was the best one on my high school team, then I went to an NCAA Division II college and everyone there was pretty much the best one on their team and when we'd play teams Division 1 teams like Stanford, CAL, USF in the spring it was a serious wake up call cause those dudes were the very best from around the country....not so fun! ha ha ha...Anyway, good luck with it all and I didn't mean to take this thread so far off topic.

Thanks I appreciate the good luck wish. And yea I was the same way my freshman year, I'm a junior now, college is completely different. Had to grow up fast or get left behind.
