Funny how that show constantly puts down american muscle. Funny thing is if you go to Barrett Jackson our crappy muscle cars are worth more than anything they have.

Whats funny is that most car owners if they are going to race someone else it will be on the street and in a straight line. Does it really matter if you can out corner someone? No, Roush ftw.

 

thats a stock gt and it totally outmuscles the lotus....lotus only won cause he hugged the corners but i was friggin totally impressed by the mustang...it didnt help that the idiot drivin the stang was takin every corner way too fast...i actually think that the mustang driver purposely blew the race at the end...helped ratings that way i guess...cant have the $56000 lotus totally have its *** handed to it by a $30000 mustang gt

The lotus model is pretty good in corners..I've driven one and it was pretty impressed. I'd take the stang though..

 

I can't see the video from here, but are you talking about the lotus exige vs roush mustang on top gear? If so, the mustang is not a regular GT..it's a roush...

Agreed. The show featured a Roush even though it said GT. Those Lotus Exiges aren't too bad. It's got a supercharger and only weighs what like 1800lbs. or something. They handle like a beast.
