first time goin 2 track

Default first time goin 2 track

it is goin 2 be my first time at track 2nite if i end up goin out.....any pointers?

go arround the water box (should be a strip of wateR) dont get any on your tires.

dust off the tires a but (dump clutch and let them spin a little) pull forward untill both little yellow lights on the tree are lit, then get ready to go, if manual, slip the clutch from 2500-3000 if auto, stall it up and let'her rip.

launch when the 2nd yellow light blinks.

yea dont put the front tires in the water box. unless you want to make the people that go after you mad.

i ran with 275x35x18 drag radials

ran a 14.7 at 94mph with a 2.057 60'

clutch went goin into 3rd gear on first run, let it cool off for awhile, then barely got the thing home

mods are offroad h, flowmasters, dr, bbk cai

and goin in this week
spec clutch, 4.10s, accufab 70mm tb/plenum

SWEET!!!! not bad for a first time...(im one to talk..haha)...how did it feel to hear something go pop under ur feet?

and get a centerforce clutch....ive heard specs and they chatter....

the spec clutch is already here i just got a spec stage 1......goin 2 college in fall....car is not comin with me 2 any of the years of college, its bein garaged.....so i just went wit stage 1 since i only have a few bolt ons and car will only see summers and not 2 many trips to the track for awhile........saved the money
