what is the difference?
I was looking at the steeda tri-ax shifter and also notice the steeda sport shifter? What is the major difference btw the two performance wise? I know that if you buy cheap you buy again but if the performance is the same and even from the same brand is there much of a difference? I am just tire of the long throws on my gt and want a dependable short throw shifter.
An educated guess, based soley on the reading of the descriptions for them, is that the "Sport Shifter" gives you a shorter throw distance than stock, while the "Short Throw" gives you the smallest throw distance.
Sport Shifter = A little quicker and more "fun" for the daily-driver, not looking to beat every person at every red light they come across.
Short Throw = Shortest throw distance for the person geared more towards the "race" than the "drive". A little more annoying in a stop-n-go traffic situation.
Also, please understand, this is just like I said it is: Only my understanding from reading the descriptions. By no means, please do not take this as the actual/exact/correct/gospel truth answer.
