5.0L Tech There's no replacement for displacement.

Whats the difference?

Default Whats the difference?

I am new to mustang and wanted to know what is the difference between a cobra motor and a plain 5.0? I'm asking because I want to put a cobra motor in my 88 but wanted to know if i could just add the things that a cobra has to mine? Any info is a help Thanks Adam

really depends on what years. i think the older ones where high output 5.0's then 351's, then dohc, 5.4, and then supercharged

What about the 90-93? Was it just the intake and heads?

Default cobra engine difference

The difference in the 93 cobra engine and the 93 gt was intake,heads,rocker arms,injectors,cam,throttle body,also mass air and computer was different.
