Default BBK Twin 62mm Throttle Body (05-06 GT)

I have a question about the throttle body you are selling for the 05-06 GT.

Can I expect to have tuning problems with this throttle body? I was told by a source that they are having problems because they are untunable. So if I buy this, and have problems, how will I be able to resolve this possible problem.

I went to BBK performance site and they don't even list a throttle body for the 05-06 GT. That strikes me as a little wierd.

Thanks
Jeff

It's still kind of "in production." The gears were manufacturered wrong the first time, and now that they have the gears, they need to put everything together.

As far as the tuning issues go, its not so much the tuning issue with the TB, as it is with the car. In order to dyno tune, the dyno has to have the newest software that can be used with Drive-by-wire systems. Remember, all other Mustangs prior to this point have been controlled by a throttle cable. These are controlled by the PowerPC processing unit.

I have not heard of any drivability issues with the TB, but I have just started selling the 05/06 TB's so I cant give you a 100% result. We havnt even gotten any of these BBK TB's yet. I've only sold a few GMS throttle bodies for the 05/06, and I dont have any info on how those are performing.

Thanks Shambles.

I plan to buy one here in the near future, maybe next month. Any chance of MT selling throttle body spacers as well

As far as the PC controlling it, I knew that was the case, I guess the word tunable was not the right word. But was told they were not working as expected and you seem have answered me as to why. The wrong gears would definitely make it faulty.
