Hey heres my problem..
cruising my oil presure is fine.. above half on the stock gauge...however say i'm in 3rd and punch it the pressure DROPS to nothing.. i let out and it comes right back up... any ideas as to why this is happening and what i can do to fix it? yes its got enough oil in it.. and no it doesnt make any noises it shouldnt..

 

Check it with another gauge if possible to verify. Possibly a bad sender. Id replace that if you can't check with another gauge. My gauge started fluctuating on my 89, discovered my oil pump gave up the ghost.
