Default obd conversion help

i have recently bought a 88 gt mustang and i was under the understanding that it came with the obd 1 port and this poses a potintal problem since iu have plans to do some serious modifeing to the car engine and all. i was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells a obd 2 coversion kit or if i will have to change the whole computer and harness. if i have to change the computer will the car run the same or will it give me endless amounts of problems. ur help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Proceed to thank me.

It's a fairly big job but it's not especially hard. Just a **** ton of little details and parts. I'd see about the legalities of going carburetor in your locality. It'd probably be easier and cheaper.
