I need advice on mods for my 95

well one cool thing about the 5.0's are that you can find parts dirt cheap.
first stem IMO would have to be ditch the heads and intake, from what i understand they are total dog**** in the 94-95, you can at the verry least find yourself some GT40 stuff for fairly cheap. Also i believe the smog stuff in those years pulled a lot of power. ditch that too. . .
::waits for the real 5.0l guys to come in and correct me::

unless of coarse ya wanna go s/c...
but heads, upper & lower intake manifold, and cam would do wonders...
of coarse ya'll need new headers when buying heads so a set of long tubes and H-pipe (or x) would be a good route...
and ya'll probably want new injectors too...
not really cheap though...
browse around at summit or http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/Default.asp

Those arent even the comp heads...
ya'll need valves etc...
and ya might as well do intake mainfolds inectors and cams and rods and ya'll need the headers too...
Do it right... the first time...
I dont see the point in replacing heads with heads that are just a little bit better...
and i dont see the point in do 1 thing and not the rest... lol

what these guys said, h/c/i is the way to go. but i noticed u said cheap so id just do the normal stuff. i always say get it running right 1st with a tune up then throw on the mods. then u can bump the timing and get some more bolt ons. gears, cai, pullies, exhaust, and id also suggest a short shifter (if its 5spd) and some bigger brakes. those 2 things to me made the car more fun to drive.

I miss my 95 GT. Yeah, tuneup first with some good wires and plugs, new cap and rotor. Bumping the timing is free HP, 14 degress. if not done already. Intake, heads and cams will wake it up but you will have problems with the EECIV Computer. It likes bolt ons like any exhaust compnents, CAI's, TB's, Pulleys, mass air meter, and usually intake. But once you do a cam or better heads, you computer is pissed off. It won't let you take it that far from the computer boundries. The PRO-M PIH kit with a A9L computer will wake it. You can go with a chip also. I did both. The chip would work, then not work. I then did the PIH kit with an A9L computer and it was like a beast. Oh i had all the bolt on's and i swapped out the 5.0 for a new 5.0 GT-40 crate motor with Y aluminum heads and E-303 cam, GT 40 intake and all the good stuff. pushing a tad over 300 to the wheels after everything was done.
a while before i sold it, had it for 4 years, I carbed it with an edelbrock performer intake and a Speed Demon 650, that was also awesome, it would pull hard past 6K PRMS easily. but my best pass in the quarter mile, spinning the street tires, was a 14 flat at 104 mph.
