yea grand prix would have been your closest one I would think... sunfire only puts out around 140hp and around the same torque.. but its all basically based on the driver so anything can happen hehe

I am not sure what is more sad, another street racing post or the fact that you are racing Sunfires and Contours with a Mustang. Look, people get killed street racing andf it is highly illegal in all states. While I am not your father (and probably old enough to be it), you need to stop this BS people you kill yourself or someone else. But, I am not, so I can't do anythign about it. If you were my kid and I caught you, you would not be driving a car until you were old enough to support yourself.

As an admin on this site, can you be less obvious with the street racing posts? Seriously, think about it. Would you make a post and post a vid of you and your buds smoking dope or robbing a store? Don't discuss a blatantly illegal act on this site.

Look, we all drive Mustangs because we like fast cars.....I get it! But, racing is for the track, not for the streets that we share with everyone else. Talking about a little pull here and there.......no big deal. Seriously, I don't care and those comments are welcome.

I cut these kids from their cars and hold back their mamas who want to see them because their faces are missing, or brains are running out their ears. I'm not anyone heres daddy, but I dont want to condone their actions either. My .02

Yeah, I kinda agree with what the jackass said ^^ Lol

When a 17 year old posts about streetracing it's dangerous and immature, when a 40 year old posts about it it's just having some fun on the road.

Hmmmmm lol

And don't give me the old "I didn't post a story about it" BS, you guys are attacking this guy for what he did, not that he decided to post about it.

What a joke..
theres a diference between a pull at a stoplight and lining up against three different cars and full on racing them.

Never street raced here, I have launched as hard as a stock GT will.
So maybe I was street racing myself. And I have drove the car way to fast also. Not good I know. I'm not trying to be hypocritical about it.
Im not sure what point I am trying to get across here. Just dont post about your crime sprees. IMO. Take it or leave it, I'll sleep fine either way.

And it doesn't matter what you are driving, about 6 months ago we went to a street race if thats what you want to call it where a 17 year old was racing one of those open top MG'S. He raced it straight into a street light. Well he is dead.
If you want to go over to another type of forum google says there are 597 "street racing forums". Should be something you like there.
I think I am done with this thread. It is a fruitless conversation. Noone wins or changes their minds in these kind of conversations. Ever.

I think we are saying the same thing. Or at least thats what I meant to say.
I kinda mini bashed with the and that got it started.
I was admitting to being in the at least 50 %, who have done it but I realize it is wrong and have seen first hand the consequences. On the other hand, not only street racers get killed. I have been to way more accidents where little old men and women pull out in front of people. Hell, I've been to more old people driving through store fronts than street racing deaths. I figured he was young and wanted him to know that its not accepted by most as appropriate for the street ot boards.
