CAN A MUSLIM BE A GOOD AMERICAN?

* Better think about this long and hard.....*

Can a Good Muslim be a Good American?

Interesting questions for the Muslim Community to discuss & for
research on our part also.

Can a good Muslim be a good American? I forwarded that question to a friend
who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years . The following is his forwarded
reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon
God of Arabia. Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by
his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam
and the Quran (Koran). Geographically - no. Because his
allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make
friends with Christians or Jews. Politically - no. Because he must submit
to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and
Destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and
beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 ).

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American
Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the
Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow
freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist.
Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no Because when we declare "one nation under God," the
Christians God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as
heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Qurans 99 excellent
names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very
suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both
"good" Muslims and good Americans.

Call it what you wish..its still the truth. You had better believe it!
If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements,
perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand
this, the better it will be for our country and our future. Pass it on
Fellow Americans. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand.

Does following fundamentalist Islam make it hard to live in a liberalized western secular society.. sure as hell does. It'll still end up like all the other religions... a failure destroyed by rediscovered history and ignored except on the sabbath.

You know I know a lot of very religious jews that eat bacon cheeseburgers. They've simply decided that the dietary laws don't apply to their relationship with <insert non-existant deity here>.

thats a bit retarded...theologically, religiously and spiritually sort of fall under the same umbrella...as for muslims being good americans? why the hell not? what difference does religion make? these days we can barely get away with saying god in school...and that "one nation under god" line is just about outlawed anyway...why pretend we are gods country now? better hope muslims can be good americans...cause last time i checked in at my doctors office it was almost 80% of them

I work next to a guy from Dubai...he is muslim. He's a cool dude. peaceful, helpful, courteous etc.

I live a couple of miles down the road from the apartments and Mosque that 3 of the 911 hijackers lived in and no one thought they were bad Muslims. My point is they cant be trusted

He also unified the German people by creating an external threat to their beliefs and way of life. it is a religion, but how many people on here are christian, catholic, and jewish and 100% adhere to the writings and teachings? there is just as much shit in christianity about killing and dominating and stuff. how much blood is on the hands of the christian religion?

Hell, most religious people (christians/catholica/jews) i know still do things that are against the religion, or just choose to ignore certain beliefs and aspects of the religion because they choose to. They figure the teachings are there for moral lessons, some things are no longer valid, and they make individual decisions on thier own accord as to what is and what is not valid in a religion. This is common, extremly common. Or else all the "christians" woudl be out there killing all the homosexuals.

Why cant muslims take the religion as guidlines and make thier own decisions as to what to believe and ignore?

My family lived in Saudi for 12 years. We had many great Muslim friends. Behind the doors these people are no different than you and I . The Sheik who owned the compound even allowed us to have Catholic worship, as long as it was not publically displayed. He was of the opinion that Christians and Muslims believed in the same God.

The problem is with the Religious Police, who are usually un-educated thugs brain washed with a fanatical Islam point of view. IMO, the official Religious enforcement is driving the fanatical Muslim to be intolerant.
