That's a Cartech.com system sold by them. You can get them cheaper straight from Cartech call dont order online ask a few question and prices and cause they like you they will knock $500 off!!! Also they do not have systems for 1996 or up, these are for 1995 and down 5.0's.
About 10 years ago i had a intercooled cartech turbo'd 1991 GT. Of course the 64 will make more power but more lag, you have to decide you max power you want. Also O-ringed heads i found are a must!!! i found that out!! I used to peg my max 14lbs of boost at a low 3000rpm!!! I put some race gas in it 108 octane and turned up the wastegate and got 18lbs of boost out of the t-44. Is that enough for you?? Unless your trying for 700+ HP go with the smaller turbo. I dyno'd @ 524hp and 565ftlb's of torque out of my 5.0 back then. Quiet as hell, and a super sleeper!!! That system and car are reviewed here. http://www.50mustangandsuperfords.co...219/index.html

As far as lag, there wasnt much. I've had paxton centrifigal, and the powers there on the cartech turbo's way before paxtons. I saw 5lbs of boost come in @ 1800rpms and full 14lbs of boost @ 3000rpms. There was hardly any lag, not like you see on 4 cylinder cars. U cannot see it. but the exhaust from both sides of the engine cross over into the turbo to drive it. then down to a single 3 1/2 pipe, then down to split back off to the factory Header location. As i said you can get this cheaper calling them. And for $3500 you will not be able to build this kind of streetable reliable power with anything else. And no joke, After the tune i got 2mpg better gas mileage with the turbo's installed. I used a Crane interceptor add on EEC 4 tuner to run it. I bought the turbo system after getting tired of filling nitrous bottles. With the intercooler it's crazy the amount of boost you can push compared to a blower car.
