Default turbo

Hey dudes, i have question about turbo charging a carburated 5.0...i did a head gasket for my friend so he owes me cash, but he has a 14b turbo in good condition, think it came off an eclipse GSX. is that too small a turbo for a 5.0? where can i find the headers and stuff to turbo the stang? would it give me enough power to be worth installing?

Default turbo set up

hey i think that your car would work good with that turbo, and if there is too much lag you can always hit it with a small shot of nos to spool it quiker. as for the turbo header and things here is a site you may want to check out it has really good photos of a cartech turbo install on a 91 LX 5-speed i am thinking of going with a turbo also on my 94 347 stroker but a single turbo header for a mustang is atleast $600. so i bought a header flange for a 302 and am planing to make my own turbo header the one you see on this site would be really easy to make so maybe check into that hope this helps good luck!

There is no way that thign would have trouble spooling on a V8 car. it's almost two small. You could probally run twins that size no problem

Aww, its too late now, i sold that thing cause i needed the cash...it needed to be rebuilt anyway. it had shaft play, enough to hit the side of the housing...so i sold it to this "im assuming" ass that is putting it on a motor he is selling. i hope he tells the buyer about the shaft play.
