These pulleys slow down your accessories about 25%, reducing the drag on your engine. They even bump up gas mileage. ( But not by enough to see)
They are a bolt on that many buy, but it will not be real noticible for Horse Power.
Most say that they give you 8-10hp buy this is not always the case.
It is really up to you whether or not you want to use them.

By the way I have them on my car. Steeda is the better choice with the balancer that gets included.

Yea, some people notice charging problems with some of the brands, but Steeda is arguably one of the best brands for pulleys out there. I dont know if they make them for the V6 engine, so youll have to see. One thing to look for though, is a set that isnt piggyback style, as they can cause problems, or not do anything at all.
