It shouldn't sound too bad...but it'll be loud. I would tend to belive it just sounds like a loud stock exhaust...it depends on what you like.

If it's only $100, I'd say to grab it anyways...save some money down the road.

OOOHH NO NOT FLOWMASTERS!!! That's so stupid, don't listen to that, I get a muffler for the sound, no one mufflers gonna give you a noticable amount of HP, so just go with what sound you like. I have flows, and have had may people ask what I have cuz they love the sound.

Exactley!!! I had weld in flows on my GT when I bought it. It sounded damn good out side the car but the drone on the highway was killing me. Whe I bought my full exhaust I bought a set of mac pro dumps and it is a crap ton quieter in the cabin. I can talk on my cell phone now in my car, and it still sounds very mean from the outside.

If you are an old fart and want to hear your joints crack when you shift just stick with the stock mufflers. Any loud exhaust will have a bit of drone listen to my flows and I also have interior vid so you can hear for yourself http://www.mustangtuningforums.com/showthread.php?t=702

If you wanted quiet and supple cruising, you should have bought a Crown Vic. Yes, my flows drone, but I can deal with it.

There is not right or wrong exhaust it just boils down to what you think a Stang should sound like.

First of all if you want to spend money on an exhaust make sure you get one that is stainless steel and that you like the sound. Your best bet is to listen to a couple of diffrent mustang and figure out which sound you like. Flowmaster exhaust I have been told is not stainles steel and runs the risk of rusting. Also every mustang out there has it especially fox bodies. I head the SLP exhaust and knew I had to have it. It is loud and they really know when you get on it. I emailed SLP and asked them about the hp gains and they said 7-10 for the cat-back and 7-10 for the x-pipe. for the money SLP is a great buy but really any exhaust is better over stock.
