Default If I have a H-pipe....

If i have a h-pipe on my V6 is it the same as a GT adapter? Or do i have to stay with a V6 Catback exhaust?? or can i go with a GT exhuast??? I have a 1995 V6 so if i have to keep and V6 exhaust or if i could switch to a GT exhaust, could you leave some goods products that will make my car growl??
