First of all, you have to burn that mustang, because it has been desecrated by tastelest exterior modifications, and then buy a camry.

The good old v6 to 302 swap. Its been done a lot.

Its not that big of a deal like people make it out to be. You need a different, motor, tranny, rear, and depending how you do a few things the fuel system and wiring would need to be changed.

Basically a whole powertrain swap, WITH the whole entire gauge cluster, ECU, and all that.

In ky you can hillbilly do it, and have nothing work, but the car will move n drive by throwing a carb on it.

If its a carbed 302 you can leave all the wiring for the tranny etc... alone and keep the speedo working.

Thats a weird choice, I would've at least used a chevy 350 so you could have the potential to easily stroke it to a 383 later. I know 305's have the awfulest lifter peck ever!

I would be interested to see some pics or vids. I would have went with a Vortec or LS based engine personally.

It is a strange choice, I would at least have used a Chevy 350, and would the ability to easily clock 383 higher. I know that have 305 of the worst ever hitchhiker!
