so i got the h-pipe with super 44 flowmaster!!!!

i KNOW everyone says flowmaster is overrated but this set up has the deepest tone i've heard on any sixer!!! plus is loud if your into it...

either way i'm excited about and just want people to know if your gonne dual it out this is definetly something you should consider!!!

my buddies got the same thing on his 09 v6 but with original 40's and it sounds good

Well his is a 4.0. So it will sound different. Personally I think 4.0s sound better at idle. But when they get rolling i think its comparable to camaros old 3.8s..

 

Im guessing that's a bad thing? Regardless of the same basic engine, I think the V6 mustangs sound better with exhaust than the 3.8L Camaros.

 

Yeah, I dont like the way the 4.0s sound, thats why i said that. its sounds like the camaro 3.8s,, but just a little better..

GM makes horrible sounding engines. Other than the ZR1 and LS1 and 2.

 

Yyup. I think the 4.0 came outta the Ranger line, so there ya go. Good thing Ford scrapped EVERYTHING for the mustang in the powertrain department and started over. Couldn't be happier for 'em.

i think im going to take my mustang to a local muff shop have them put in an h-pipe and some high performance mufflers, the guy at the shop said that he could make it sound like whatever i wanted if we just brought the car in so he could listen to it. so hopefully that will turn out well.
