AJE and others have bolt in Kmemebers that will strengthen and lighten the front end up. You can get them with Pushrod motor mounts for 302/351 based motors, or for Mod motors. Heck some have ones for LS1 swaps.

Default AJK K-MEMBER

Does this mean I can bolt the motor mount and k-member into my car without removeing the car k-member and install my 351w into my 1997 mustang [which got a v-6 in it now] BOB

This replaces the factory K-memeber. So the stock one needs to be removed which means the engine needs to be removed or hold up while you swap them out. Though if your going with a 351 your gonna remove the engine anyhow. Then the 351 will bolt right in and you drop weight off the front of the car. And it makes more room for long tube headers.

boy I hope you know what's involved in this sort of swap. The k-member is the least of the issues.
