Default Catalytic Converter Question

I drive a 05 V6 and in Jersey its required to have Catalytic Converters i saw that Pypes and SLP came out with Pypes High Flow Ceramic Catalytic Converter Kit (86-10), and SLP High Flow Catalytic Converter Kit (96-10). I was wondering if they would one fit with no problems. 2nd does anyone know if they would pass for inspection in Jersey. 3rd do they really make a difference. If anyone can answer any of this or any other bit of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Magnaflow also makes highflow cats and they work as advertised. They are also slightly louder then stock to which is cool. But it won't be raspy like most v6's without cats.

Do you know how much rage wise it would cost to install the cats and weld my entire exhaust system.

Labor rates vary around the country so I can't say. I wouldn't pay more then $100 max for a simple catalytic converter swap. But it just depends on where you live. Just call all the exhaust shops in your area to find out what its gonna cost.
